Stocking Up on Sunglasses

When buying sunglasses, we usually do not think about stocking up on them. Most people buy one pair and leave it at that. Almost invariably, however, we lose or break our sunglasses and regret not having a backup pair. Even worse, we sometimes cannot find the same sunglasses again leaving us to start over with a less-than-optimal pair.

If you are buying sunglasses that you really like, you should consider purchasing at least two pairs. In fact, if possible, buy three or four pairs. However, if the sunglasses you wear are very easy to find, you probably do not need to buy several pairs – there is no need to stock up on a type of sunglasses that are available any time from your local pharmacy.

For those of us who buy trendy or funky sunglasses, the need is even greater. If you find a pair of funky sunglasses that you really like you want to make sure you pick up at least two pairs. You know that you are buying them, in part, because they are unique. By definition, this means they will not be easy to replace. The good news is that most funky sunglasses tend to be relatively inexpensive, so, purchasing an extra pair usually will not break the bank. So why not stock up now?

Obviously, your budget and the cost of the sunglasses will play a large part in whether or not you can stock up on them. That said, it is important to keep in mind that that sometimes you are better off buying two pairs of less expensive sunglasses rather than one pair of really expensive sunglasses.

In the end, we all know how hard it can be to find sunglasses that we really like. If you happen to find a pair of sunglasses that you love, you should stock up on them so you do not regret it in the future.
