Eyes are very important organs for our human beings. But they are too fragile and prone to many diseases and infections if not properly treated. If we have any eye problem, our lives will be greatly affected.
It is true that we have benefited a lot from wearing contact lenses and we can see objects as clearly as before. However, improper care of contacts can cause great damage onto our health.
Most of us believe that those contacts we wear, especially those famous ones, like Bausch & Lomb Contact, are safe and can clean themselves automatically. In fact, this is not true. However good our contacts are, we should still pay more attention to care, maintenance and disinfecting of them. Doing so can greatly protect our eyes.
It is a very common phenomenon that some protein and organic matters will be left onto the lenses if we wear them for a long time. And those protein and organic matters can cause some serious problems to our eyes, such as infection, vision loss, etc. if not effectively cleaned off. Therefore, we should try to get rid of those horrible matters first.
Luckily, some particular cleaning solutions are effective to clean our contacts. But one point should be remembered that we should have our contacts soaked with some saline solution before wearing them, however famous the manufacturers are.
Some other chemicals in the lenses can also cause serious damages to our eyes. However, those saline solutions are also the same as tears, so they can neutralize those harmful chemicals and protect our eyes.
